Prior to starting the coaching I felt that Larry had really done his ground-work. He had taken the time to understand my background and role as well as the wider context of the marketplace in which we operate. When the coaching began, Larry very quickly got under the skin of what made me tick and what drives me. We spent time really unlocking my values and deeper character – the spike strengths as well as development themes. As a coach I found Larry to be patient and supportive but challenging where needed. He had the ability to get the questions and framing just right which in turn helped unlock the insights. Emotionally I found the coaching experience to be quite challenging at times. However, the benefits have been very significant – not just in my working life but in my personal life, too. I feel that I have a much greater ability to manage external stakeholders and to both plan and get across the key messages that I need to. I also feel much more relaxed in how I operate. Finally, I have noticed very significant changes in how I voice my opinion and connect with those around me. This has enabled me to build stronger relationships both inside and outside of the workplace. The coaching partnership I have had with Larry has proved to be one of the most important relationships in my career to date.

Larry is a supportive and challenging coach. He listens and probes to ensure he understands issues and then works with you to tease out possible outcomes and solutions. He always has an insight to support this and backs this up with further reading and support material. He is a very warm person and provides a high degree of personal support to his clients particularly when they are in difficult situations.
